Obituary for Mary Talley Bradley

Mary Talley  Bradley
Mrs. Mary “May” Talley Bradley, 69, of Easley, South Carolina, departed this life on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at her home. She was a daughter of the late Jesse Talley and Pearl Wakefield Talley.

She was a 1966 graduate of Clearview High School and was a retiree of the United States Postal Service. A devoted member of Sweet Canaan Baptist Church, she was a Sunday School Teacher, a member of the Sweet Canaan Ensemble and the Unity Festival Committee of Easley. She was the former church historian and family historian and a former member of the US Postal Service Bowling League.

“May” was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charlie R. Bradley; a brother, Charles Talley; and five sisters, Geneva Todd, Alberta Talley, Marian Long, Lillie Talley, and Earnestine Davis.
Left to cherish many fond and loving memories are two daughters, Karen Talley of Easley, SC and Tami (Juaquin) Gould of Huntersville, NC; two sisters, Ruby Nell Talley of Easley, SC and Juanita Holbrook of Springfield, MA; two brothers, James (Jenny) Talley of Jacksonville, FL and Jasper Talley of Greenville, SC; three grandchildren, Quintin Talley of Easley, SC, Josiah and Jorai Gould, both of Huntersville, NC; one great-grandson, Jaxon Talley; a godson and caretaker, Jonathan Knight of Easley, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
