Condolence From: Brenda Mitchell

Condolence: My Condolences to the children of my Aunt, Geneva Smith. Even though this is a sad time in our life, we can be happy and take comfort in knowing that Aunt Geneva lived a complete and full life. She was truly a woman of God. This is evident by the longevity of the years she was with us. We can take comfort in knowing that Aunt Geneva, at her age, still held her own during a conversation with you and knew exactly what she was talking about and who. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to see life through her eyes when she spoke about the early years growing up. I felt blessed being in her presence and even though I will miss her dearly I know she's resting in heaven with family and friends long gone. I can't be sad about that. May God continue to bless you and keep you strong.

Condolence: My deepest sympathy in the loss of your beloved family member. How comforting to know that when death claims one of our loved ones, others feel our pain, especially our heavenly father. That is why he gives us comfort and encouragement from his word the Bible. Psalm 34:18 reminds us that "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit". And the beautiful promise for the future at Isaiah 25:8 which says; And he (God) will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces. May these Bible truths help you to cope with the sadness and grief during this time of bereavement.
