Minister Gerald La’Voy Pickens, 52, of Greenville, South Carolina passed on Friday, June 17, 2022, at McCall Hospice House. He was a son of the late Jerry Pickens and Callie Estell Jackson Pickens.
Surviving his wife of 19 years, Phyllis Young Pickens; two daughters, Jasmine (Christopher) Townsend and Jamaih Pickens, both of Greenville, SC; one son, Christopher (Tamatha) Young of Simpsonville, SC; one sister, Shannon Pickens, of Greenville, SC; one brother, Jermale Gaines of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
